Fake old building detected

At first I was furious: how dare they turn this...

...into this?!

From current Baidu street maps.

But then I realized this is a fake old building, and the pictures should be in the reverse order:

This is Yuanfang Alley (Lane 125 Middle Sichuan Road), right off the Bund, behind the Russel & Co (四川中路126弄25号). The original building, the offices of the Tung Yok Kung shipping company back in the day, was dismantled in 2010; its pitched roof was last seen in February 2010, on the Google Earth.
