Historic images of Shanghai at Denver Museum

A rather unexpected place for a great collection of early Shanghai images – Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Some of the archival photographs show street corners and buildings not seen elsewhere, in reasonably hi-res. The genius 随意-sy has been identifying locations and publishing them in his blog. The image above shows the intersection of Nanking Road with Honan Road around the year 1900.
